This translates into selling exclusively Fair Trade coffee, providing exceptional hospitality and celebrating music and art throughout the shop. So whether you’re surfing the web with our free wireless access, listening to a local band or poetry slam, perusing brochures in the justice room, playing a board game with a child or viewing fantastic artwork on the walls, Donkey is a place where you belong.

Our backroom is the center of art and culture at Donkey. It serves as a rotating gallery space for local and regional artists, a performance space that has become a favorite amongst musicians for its intimacy and a favorite hang-out for people looking to enjoy conversation and quality of entertainment. We offer a variety of events through the week for people to enjoy the talents of many in the community.

We are committed to promoting justice in our community and throughout the world through public awareness, serving, and financial giving. This is the heart of what Donkey is about. The following list of organizations shows some organizations that are doing a great job in our community to combat poverty and injustice and help us all move forward toward a better world. We embrace these organizations and hope people would get involved with some of them. By supporting these organizations, we don’t necessarily agree with all of their tenets.
